The Germantown High School art club, Spectrum, is a group designed to provide an after school art experience to students who seek education in art beyond the classroom. To that end, the group strives to provide various kinds of activities that interest art oriented students and also to give the students an opportunity to share their love of art with the community. Spectrum sponsors drawing classes, sketching trips, trips to galleries and museums, talks by visiting artists, and volunteer projects. In addition, the club holds various fund raising projects each year to benefit the senior scholarship fund. Spectrum meets after school every Thursday and the yearly dues are $5.00. Any Germantown High School student with an interest in art is eligible to join.
